R1 million for Landcruiser 76

Folks - my GWM Steed 5 is truly banged up and the itch is always there but I am NOT planning to buy a car. I am only asking because I am looking at the price of this car and it seems I can get two Chinese (I own a GWM so I am very familiar with Chinese) with far better equipment for the price of this car. I have listened to a few reviews hoping somewhere along the review the reason for the pricing will be revealed and not a single one did that. In fact most praise the "vintage feel" and the "back to basics approach" and the "tried and tested aircon sliders". I thought maybe one reviewer would hoist it up and show us the belly and point at the oversized beams and rods and justify the pricing.

Perhaps you have one of these "Meneers" please share - why so pricey !!!! why not R300 000 !
